Would putting in a stand-up shower instead of a bathtub decrease the value of my home

We only have one bathroom and the bathtub badly needs replaced but we plan

on selling in 2-3 years and the bathroom is so small that a shower would

give us so much more room!

families. Children take bathes not showers and from personal experience

when I want to relax or I am sick I like to take a bath, not having a bath

If you plan on selling you will need a tub if the house only

has one bathroom. A shower in a tub is much more spacious that a shower
