Would putting in a stand-up shower instead of a bathtub decrease the value of my home
We only have one bathroom and the bathtub badly needs replaced but we plan
on selling in 2-3 years and the bathroom is so small that a shower would
give us so much more room! lol, good point, I am not really sure.
I've been up since 5am though and it is almost midnight here.
Having a shower and no bath limits your buyer pool when you go
to sell your home. If you only have one bath it sounds like this may be a
starter home and a lot of people that are in starter homes often start
families. Children take bathes not showers and from personal experience
when I want to relax or I am sick I like to take a bath, not having a bath
would be a deal breaker for me.
Good Luck making your choice, hope the info helps.
Only women and kids take baths. But most people are used to
seeing a tub in a one bath house. have you considered if you could add a
shower, off your bed room?
If you plan on selling you will need a tub if the house only
has one bathroom. A shower in a tub is much more spacious that a shower
alone. And why do you call it a ''stand-up'' shower? Are there any other
kind? NO.
